When the maintenance crew finishes and closes a downtime event, ProAlert automatically displays a message on the Andon boards and plays a sound over the PA system, informing the operator that the work center is available again.

ProAlert allows Planned Down times to overlap Downtime events. This strategy is nothing new; but, ProAlert accounts for it without losing any data. Other systems might truncate the down time data losing what actually took place. ProAlert allows you to look at the events separately or together.
